Welcome to RDA Malaysia

Welcome to the Riding for the Disabled Association Malaysia website. Here you can find all the information you need about what we do, our centres, and how you can help.

RDA Malaysia was registered as a charitable organisation in October 1994 under our Royal Patron YAM Raja Dato Seri Azureen Sultan Azlan Shah. We are a non-profit organisation made up of volunteers who work with horses and the physically, and mentally, challenged.

Horse riding has been known to be a beneficial form of therapy in achieving a positive state of independence and worth, while improving the physical and mental state in both children and adults.

Presently, RDA Malaysia actively operates in six areas around peninsular Malaysia, namely;

• The Royal Selangor Polo Club
• Bukit Kiara Equestrian and Country Resort
• Perak Turf Club & Equestrian Centre
• RDA Penang Turf Club
• Selangor Turf Club and Equestrian Centre
• The Malaysian Armed Forces
  Equestrian Centre

If you, or someone you know would have the need for such a service, or you would like to volunteer, please contact us at the various centres.

Training will be provided for volunteers, who are greatly in need in all of the RDA Malaysia centres.

You don’t need to have any experience with horses to contribute - just a compassionate and charitable heart.
